The Broadberry CyberStation Performance range of single and dual processor workstations powered by AMD’s latest AMD EPYC 9004 series processor come with the introduction of the most technologically advanced DDR5 RAM. DDR5 doubles memory density whilst greatly improving reliability at a time when data center system architects seek to supply rapidly growing processor core counts with increased memory bandwidth and capacity.

Advanced workloads resulting from rapidly expanding datasets and compute-intensive applications have fueled processor core count growth which will be bandwidth-starved by current DRAM technology. DDR5 delivers more than a 1.85x increase in performance compared to DDR4 with faster transfer speeds, bus speeds and greater clock frequencies. DDR5 also enables the increased reliability, availability and serviceability (RAS) that workstation users require.

The Broadberry CyberStation Performance range of workstations are built around AMD’s latest generation of EPYC processor brings the much anticipated PCIe5 with it. This doubles the theoretical limitations of I/O over PCIe 4 – boosting bandwidth from 64GB/s to 128GB/s and frequency from 16GHz to 32GHz.

Configure your AMD EPYC gen 4 workstations with PCIe5 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSDs to dramatically increase read / write speeds of your applications, PCIe5 networking cards for high speed networking, or the latest PCIe5 GPU cards for the ultimate processing speeds.

Critically, PCIe5 standard slots will be fully compliant with previous generation devices.

Broadberry workstations are built with AMD EPYC 9004 series processors which support 12 memory channels with 2 DIMMs/channel capability delivering the resources required for memory hungry AI, ML, HPC and large in-memory computations.

The latest generation of EPYC CPU’s also uniquely provide astonishing 128 PCIe 5 lanes in a single socket workstation and up to an astounding 160 PCIe 5 lanes in a dual socket workstation. This enormous I/O throughput delivers the resources necessary for today’s applications such as AI and ML, as well as to natively meet the requirements of today’s GPUs and high capacity LAN cards via a high PCIe 5 lane count delivering 4x the IO throughout of the competition.
